I have been teaching high school English since 1992. I earned a B.S. degree in secondary education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in English, and a Master Equivalency in Education. I have been a member of my school's building leadership team since its inception and was voted Teacher of the Year in 2016. I became a certified life coach in 2014. I wrote The Coaching Classroom to share life coaching strategies I've used to help my students improve their performance and reach their full potential. I have two children, and reside in DuBois, PA, with my husband and son.
